The Wireless Network at BUMC

If you have reached this page, you have tried to access a web resource without first authenticating. There are a few steps that need to be completed to be able to authenticate and use the wireless network at BUMC. Once you have completed most of these steps once, you will only need to launch your VPN client and authenticate to gain access to the wireless network.

If you believe you have followed all of the pertinent steps below and are still having problems accessing websites, close all of the windows of your web browser. If all else fails, or if you have questions about anything contained in this website, contact our helpdesk at x8-5914.

For students, faculty and staff that do not have a BUMC account (see below) and those individuals using Apple's MacOSX

  1. Create a BU Kerberos login/password. If you do not have a BU Kerberos (aka ACS, email, etc) account, please contact the Learning Resource Center in the Medical School Library located in the L building on the 11th floor (access to the library is through the 12th floor).
  2. Download and install the Cisco VPN Client (Requires Valid BU Username/Password)
